Mark your calendars for the renewal of the Club Soup Cookoff on Saturday, April 28 in the Phil Walsh Cabaret Room. Doors open at 5 PM, judging begins at 6 PM, followed by entertainment with the band An Unexpected Party featuring two IACES members, Liz and Huck Ford! They’ll bring their mix of American and Classic Rock to the Cabaret Room stage! Categories are broth-based or cream-based. I encourage our younger members to participate as we will have a Young Irish Chef division for children 17 and under! We hope to see many of you, and your children at this event! Lace up your aprons and get your soup ideas cooking!
Ladies, the big day is Sunday afternoon, April 29! Some of you ordered your tickets before they were even printed, and as everybody knows, this event sells out faster than ever, so don’t be disappointed - get your tickets now. The committee has been planning a great afternoon for you.
This year’s theme is “A Star-Spangled Affair” – and while we originally planned to highlight the 40s, our emphasis is really on patriotism and the role women played in that time period when so much was at stake in our own country and abroad. So plan to wear your own combination of a red, white and/or blue outfit as you sip one of our specialty drinks of the day, catch up on all the latest happenings, enjoy a delicious luncheon, decide which favorite Chinese auction packages you’d like, or be a lucky big cash winner on the main board and the sideboards.
Doors open at 1 pm, luncheon is at 2 pm and the raffle and auction are at 3 pm. Tickets are still only $40 each, and are available from: Thomasine Barner, Peggy Bennett, Amy Bopp, Martha Chrosniak, Eileen Garin, Bree Gurry, Dolly Luskin, Kevin McCluskey, Diane Probst, Maggie Gurry Spellman, Pam Splittorf, and Judy Wade. If the people listed above are out of tickets, give me a call at 440-429-5151. Because it’s such a fun afternoon just for women, don’t hesitate to invite relatives, friends, neighbors, co-workers, former classmates. Everyone will have a great time and won’t want the afternoon to end!
Get your tickets NOW! Don’t forget, “UNCLE SAM WANTS YOU!” (And so do we~!!)
The 317 Society is back and tickets are still available for purchase. Tickets are $50 each, which will get you 11 chances at winning $317 and of course a ticket to our Grand Ball and the chance at winning the grand prize.
Our first drawing will be held December 17 in the pub and will occur on the 17th of every month. The Grand Ball will be held on February 17, 2017.
If you have any further questions or would like to buy your ticket contact Michael Byrne at 216-990-2581 or email him at Euclid220@aol.com.
